Compost Tea Bags   OMRI Listed Tea Bags.

All Natural Organic

80% Slow Release Nitrogen Fertilizer

Certified for use on organic food and fiber crops.

Place in root-zone of a one gallon pot for a 3-4 month feed or steep overnight in a 5 gal bucket for compost tea. An air-stone, connected to a fish air-pump, will speed tea production by a few hours.

For heavy fruiting/flowering crops use a 2-3 gal container instead of the 5 gallon bucket.

Has beneficial microorganisms that you can see come alive once you put the bag in water. Just watch for the bag expansion within the first few hours.

It is best to use the Compost Tea Bags throughout the plants entire life cycle.

Humic Acid can be used with the bags during all stages.

If used as a pre-plant additive
, 1st plant the tea bag in the rootzone of the plant.
Water in humic acid to give root-zone bags a carbon source and keep beneficial organisms healthy

For vegetation stages water the plant with light applications of high nitrogen fertilizer such as KumuGrow, potassium nitrate, fish emulsion or side dress with 9-3-4 organic granules. Always use dilute solutions when feeding with liquid fertilizers to prevent killing off the beneficial organisms in the tea bag.
Flowering stages can be watered with straight water or with light applications of PuaNui B or Kmag.

If used as a compost tea, you can water with the tea on nearly every watering. Flush with straight water, humic acid, or 250 ppm calcium carbonate solution, every 4-6 watering's to prevent salt build-ups.

For vegetation mix small amounts of potassium nitrate (1tsp per 5 gal), fish emulsion (1oz per 5 gal) or with a side dress of 9-3-4 organic granules.
During flowering stages increase the strength of the tea by either increasing the number of bags in a bucket or by decreasing the size of the bucket. Stop adding any potassium nitrate, fish emulsion, or the like. PuaNui B and/or Kmag can be added to the tea.
Use a dilute tea during flushing stages.

Add Humic Acid to compost tea to reduce the need for media flush and to increase the absorption rate of nutrients. Humic Acid also increases the 'shelf life' of unused tea by giving the microbes a carbon source.
