KumuGrowTM
Hawaiian Horticulture KumuGrowTM is a highly soluble liquid nutrient designed especially for constant immersion, recirculating, and drip hydroponics. Versatile, Kumu GrowTM, is great for use in ebb-and-flow systems, misting/aeroponic systems, tissue culture media, and soil application in low clay sites.
Kumu, in Hawaiian, means teacher and tree. An easy one-step mixture, immediately available nutrients, and root-zone stimulating compounds make a formula ideal for learners and experienced gardeners to give nearly any plant the strength of a tree.
Note: Kumu GrowTM is designed for municipal water sources with calcium carbonate buffers. If you use distilled, reverse osmosis, or bottled water we suggest that you check pH and Ca levels regularly and add potassium hydroxide (HiHoTM) and/or calcium (PuaNui CTM) as needed. If your municipal water supply contains more than 250ppm (250mg/L) calcium carbonate you may have to add acid (HiHoLoTM) as needed.

Molybdenum (Mo) may be toxic to ruminant animals. Do not apply to forage crops.
Application
1oz per 2gal = .8 EC plugs, indoor shade loving plants
1oz per gal = 1.7 EC potted foliage, containerized and bedding plants
2oz per gal = 3.4 EC fruiting/flowering crops, landscaping/outdoor plants
3oz per 5 gal = 1.2 EC General application for most plants
Treat all seedlings and cuttings as plugs. Apply half strength plug solution when applying foliar, sowing seeds, or taking cuttings. In seven days, or after root emergence, increase solution to full strength application according to above chart. Entire contents of one 32oz bottle will cover 100-400 sq ft of ground depending on application.

In constant flow/immersion, drip, and recirculation systems, that use inert media, there is no need for large amounts of expensive phosphorous (even during flowering). Phosphorous is absorbed readily from our fully soluble formula so there is no need for additional amounts that would eventually 'tie up' other essential nutrients (namely calcium and magnesium). We guarantee that your plants will respond very quickly to this hydroponic formula.
Using no media (aeroponics or full emersion hydroponics) or inert media (rockwool, coco/rice husk, bark chips, or cinder) is a must for this formula but if you plan on using KumuGrow with high CEC media (Hydroton) or in soil we suggest pretreating the media with epsom salts and/or our PuaNui B or a high phosphorous side-dress such as triple super phosphate or our Mohala 0-42-38. This will saturate the CEC of the media making it ready for regular use with KumuGrow.
